Notice | Founding Tier B Cohort

Admission to the Founding Tier B Cohort is currently open on an invitation basis through the direct entry pathway under TPD 12/2026. Founding members receive permanent Named Founding Member status in the AITAR Digital Gazette, first-mover appointment priority, and participation in programme governance. If you have received an invitation letter, please select the Direct Entry pathway below and indicate your Founding Cohort invitation reference in Section D.

Step 1 | Select Your Application Pathway
Section A | Applicant Details
This assists the Registry in matching you to appropriate appointments.
Section B — Standard Programme Enrolment
The standard programme proceeds through three tiers. You may apply to commence at Tier I (Foundation Certificate). Progression to Tier II (Practitioner Diploma) and Tier III (Advanced Practitioner) follows successful completion of each preceding tier's assessment. Select the tier at which you wish to commence.
Section B — Direct Entry under TPD 12/2026
Direct entry is available at Tier I, Tier II, or Tier III. The portfolio assessment procedure is governed by TPD 12/2026. You are responsible for demonstrating equivalent prior learning through your CV, Schedule of Proceedings, and specimen decisions. Where gaps are identified, targeted bridge modules are prescribed before admission. A Founding Tier B Cohort invitation enables direct entry at Tier III without a competitive assessment; the sole Assessor model applies.

Section B(ii) — Documents to be Submitted with this Application
Documents should be emailed to info@aluochier.co.ke with the subject line: AITAR Direct Entry Application — [Your Full Name] — [Tier Applied]. Your application is not complete until all required documents are received by the Registry.
Section B — AISTAR Specialist Supplement Application
The AISTAR Specialist Supplement (Module 13) is available to existing Tier A and Tier B Roster members. It confers eligibility for appointment to AISTAR succession proceedings and SST Verifier assignments under AISTAR 2026. It is not a new tier and does not require a full direct entry assessment. Please provide your current Roster details below.
On receipt of your application, the Registry will issue enrolment details for Module 13 (AISTAR Specialist Workbook). The assessment is conducted under the standard Programme assessment procedures. Successful completion is recorded by Gazette Notice and your Roster entry is updated to reflect AISTAR Specialist status.
Section C — Professional Indemnity Insurance (Tier B applicants only)
Tier B membership requires professional indemnity insurance at a minimum of KES 1,000,000 per claim. For SRT appointments, coverage is assessed against the value of the matter under review in accordance with the PI Coverage Schedule (Gazette Notices 11 and 12/2026, operative 4 July 2026). Evidence of current coverage must be submitted to the Registry before Tier B status is confirmed.
Section D | Professional References

Provide the details of two professional referees. References should be from persons who can speak to your professional competence and integrity | senior counsel, CIArb Fellows, judges (retired or current), or equivalent. Referees will be contacted by the Registry. They should not be members of your immediate family.

Section E — Diversity Data (Voluntary | Article 232)

This information is collected voluntarily pursuant to Article 232 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, which requires the AITAR Roster to reflect gender equity, regional balance, and inclusion of marginalised groups over time. Data is used only for aggregate annual reporting and is not disclosed individually without your consent. You may decline to answer any question.

Section F | Declaration

I declare that the information given in this application is true, accurate, and complete to the best of my knowledge and belief. I understand that any material misrepresentation or omission may result in the rejection of this application or, if discovered after admission, in removal from the AITAR Roster without further notice.

I acknowledge that admission to the AITAR Roster confers eligibility for appointment to Tribunals constituted by Aluochier Dispute Resolution but does not confer adjudicative authority unless and until I am appointed to a Tribunal for a specific matter. I understand that adjudicative authority, when exercised, is exercised by me personally as a member of the Tribunal, and not on behalf of Aluochier Dispute Resolution.

I undertake to comply with the ethical and procedural obligations established by AITAR 2026, AISTAR 2026 (if appointed to AISTAR proceedings), the AITAR Tribunal Training Programme, and all Tribunal Procedural Directions issued from time to time.

I consent to the ADR Registry contacting my referees, retaining my application documents, and recording the outcome of this application in the institutional record.

On submission, a copy of your application will be emailed to the address you have provided. The Registry will acknowledge receipt within 3 working days. Queries: info@aluochier.co.ke | +254 114 712 433
